Healing with Crystals

A technique, which is often used in parallel with the healing process of Reiki, is by the use of coloured Crystals or Stones.

The idea is that by placing Crystals or Stones on various Chakra points of the body, overall balance and harmony to the body’s system is promoted.

The practice of Healing with Crystals is reported to aid healing – where each coloured stone adds its own vibration to the particular part of the body at which it has been placed. Each colour represents its own Chakra point of the body:-

Crystal or Stone Colour – Body Location

Red – placed at the base of the Spine

Orange – placed on the lower Abdomen

Yellow – placed between the navel and the Ribcage

Green – placed on the centre of the Chest

Light Blue – placed at the base of the Throat

Dark Blue or Indigo – placed on the centre of the Forehead

Clear Quartz – placed at the top of the Head

Its not clearly understood how Healing with Crystals works on the body, but the beneficial effects felt by people world-wide has been well documented. It is thought that the coloured stones emit the same frequencies as people – harmonising with the body physically, emotionally and mentally. The resonance between stone and patient appears to combat the vibrations of illness.

Whatever the theory, healing with Crystals or Stones seems to have a marked and lasting positive on the healing process..
